Ever been to an unconference? Now’s your chance…
Web2Open will be held in San Francisco April 23-24, 2008. And what, you may ask, is it?
Web2Open is an unconference–where anyone can share knowledge or questions about matters Web 2.0 with the community at large. The Web2Open, open to anyone who would like to participate, is a part of the Web 2.0 Expo. You need a badge to attend, but you can register for free using the the code websf08opw (this free badge will admit you to the Web2Open sessions, Expo Keynotes, Show Floor and Launch Pad).
/blockquote>While the Web 2.0 Expo focuses on presentations, the Web2Open emphasizes discussions and participation. This year, the Open blends pre-scheduled discussion sessions with a open-grid sign-ups where attendees fill in the sessions you want to discuss. The Open is a great way to connect with other attendees, learn more about elements of Web 2.0, and share your knowledge, experiences and questions.
