Small-business owners should plan to connect with the Verizon Small Business Center on Wednesday (March 24) for the next in a series of free webinars that keep businesses informed and engaged about current issues in the small-business marketplace. The upcoming webinar features Erin Geiger-Smith, editor of Law Review at Business Insider, an online destination with extensive financial, entertainment, green tech and digital industry news.

Geiger-Smith will discuss some of the most common legal issues that small businesses face; review employment law; and offer tips for protecting a business when handling contracts and confidential data.
