If you’re like me, you have old computers, cell phones, scanners and all manner of dead or unused electronic equipment sitting around collecting dust and taking up space. Have I got a site for you.

At YouRenew.com, you can easily recycle or sell your old electronics. According to their Website, it works in three easy steps:

  1. Find — Using the main search bar on the homepage or the search bar below, find your device. For best search results, try to be specific in your search and include your device’s model number.
  2. Renew — Once you find your device, you need to answer a few easy questions about your device. For help, click on the “(?)” to the right of the question. Click “How Much?” to find out the device’s value and then click “Add to Recycle Bin” to check out.
  3. Get Paid — Before checking out, you can add other devices. If you decide to “Checkout” enter your email (so we can send you a receipt and a free shipping label), your shipping address, and your choice of payment.

Free shipping? Hells yeah. Even if you only are able to recycle items, you still keep them out of your local landfill, and you can choose to have any proceeds forwarded toward domestic renewable energy production or to plant a tree. You can get more information and do your green bit for the day here.
